- I joined Second Life on November 22nd, 2004. Over 3 years ago. I wasn't looking for anything other than entertainment when I joined. However fate had it that I would meet the man I was to spend the rest of my life with there in that little world. On January 11th, 2005 I met Joe Stravinsky another avatar in Second Life. We would fall in love and change each other's lives forever after that. We would want nothing more than to be together and find that the biggest struggle of our lives. He in Wales, and me in the USA. We would desire to be together so much and so deeply that we would come up with an idea to create a shoppe in the game and sell things we made to save up money to meet. In time, everything we wanted to happen would come true. It would make us famous in the game and in real life we would be in the news and in magazines, and on tv, and a documentary series of short films would be made about us. Even a book would be published telling our story. How were we to know? Second Life holds a lot of memories for us.... we left for a while and closed our shoppe, but everyone demanded that we come back, so we did. We are still here. Hearts Desire Shoe Shoppe remains and all the prices have been lowered to thank everyone who supported us and wanted to see our dreams come true as much as we did. Thank you everyone. :) xoxo ~Heart
